I would love to shout it from the rooftops that everyone needs to get Remento for their family members. The importance of passing down those family memories and capture that live first-person story… I mean, you can't put a price on that. And if you have amazing parents like I do and you want your grandkids to know them one day, you've got to do Remento.

In case my dad wouldn't be there for my grandkids, I still want them to know who he was. I want my grandkids to be able to see and hear my dad telling family stories, not just me passing them on.
I like that Remento doesn't give my dad the homework of having to type the story. He gets to record the story, and the AI does a beautiful job of writing the story into words (better than he could ever do). The only time I had to go back was to correct the spelling of the name of the town where he lived. And if my dad said something in an accent, I could go in and fix it before getting it printed into the hardcover book.
One feature I love about the Remento book is the QR code. Not only can you see the words on the pages, but you can scan the QR code to hear the person tell the stories and see the reactions on their face.
I gave my dad the Remento book for Christmas, and once he found out what it was, he said, “So you mean I have homework every once a week for the next year?” Of course, that made everybody laugh. He wasn’t a very sentimental guy, but he absolutely loved doing it and even started to look for old pictures that he could share.
The experience he had with Remento is so sweet and special. Remento asks questions such as his earliest memory of his hometown, which brings back great memories for him. While my dad prefers audio over video, I encouraged him to try the video so that my grandchildren could see his face in some of the stories. After completing that first storytelling session, he became much more excited, and it no longer felt like a homework assignment.
Now that I've been talking about Remento with my family, my cousins want to do it with their grandparents as well, and it has sparked wonderful conversations within our family. I'd advocate for everyone to get Remento for their family just because of the importance of passing down those family memories and capturing that live first-person story. You can't put a price on that.
